"The three star hotel we stayed in last night was pretty funky. Weird bathtub (had to step up into it), very thin towels and scratchy tp ... We were spoiled by the White Swan. Not a very good breakfast thought more choice than we expected. They offered instant coffee - brown powder in a bowl - make it yourself!
we are all checked in and our luggage will stop in SF (we have to go thru customs there anyway). We are sitting at starbucks in the international terminal. The baristas looked at us like we were from Mars when we asked for decaf. And they confused chocolate Danish with chocolate doughnut.
Looks like good weather ... We are all set and eager to be home."
