May 6th, 2010, Cheryl makes the long awaited journey to Nanchang, China, to adopt her daughter Alyssa. Popo Wu and Auntie Nancy go along to help welcome Alyssa, and bring her home to her new family and friends.

    I have spent the past 10 minutes staring at the pictures...truly worth five thousand words.

    I love the first picture, it seems to capture the emotion of meeting your daughter for the first time.

    I also love the picture of you, your mom and Alyssa. You all look like you are having so much fun. I don't know the people behind you, but I suspect they are another CAWLI family by the size of their smiles.

    Congratulations, the wait probably doesn't seem that long anymore.
